I had my father visiting from out of town and wanted to make sure to get him out with someone who could definitely show him a great day and Captain Jason Davis did exactly that. We had a fantastic early morning catching reds, blacks, trout, sheepshead and a whole bunch more and then shifted gears later in the tide and went after some big bull reds. We caught another 10 or 12 of those and were happy as could be! Jason is a safe and knowledgeable Captain and he's also a super fun guy to hang out with for the day. Can't wait to get back out there with him!
My best friend and I had the best time fishing. Captain Jason really knows the area and where the fish are. We caught several Bull Reds, sharks, sheepsheads and sea trout. Can’t wait till next year. Thank you Captain Jason.
My family of 5 had one of the best days of our lives on a fishing trip with Jason in August. He knows the area and it worked perfectly for me, my wife, and kids age 12-17. We caught all types of fish , and even sharks(!) while enjoying all the beautiful sights. We talk about this trip all the time, can’t recommend enough. Thanks Captain Jason and Charleston Fishing Trips!
Jason was great. Rough, windy and rainy day, but he worked hard and we still caught about 15 big redfish. Had a blast and would definitely fish with him again
Great inshore fishing trip with Captain Jason. Caught lots of fish (including a big shark! Some say 7 ft) and loved the scenic views. Captain Jason takes impeccable care of his vessel and equipment, sources his own bait each morning - a Charleston native with TONS of experience and lots of local knowledge, you’re getting the real deal.
Wonderful experience!! Jason was excellent. He was amazing with our 11 and 13 year old. We caught a ton of fish and sharks. He took us to the right locations to be catching fish. We will definitely be using him again when we come back.
Jason is great! My Dad, nephew and I have gone out 3 times with him. Everytime they visit we’re sure to book with him. The boat is always clean and he always has waters etc if we ever need anything. Just all around a good time! Would absolutely recommend
We had an awesome time! Jason was professional, knowledgeable and a great fishing guide. Can’t say enough about him! Definitely go with him, he’ll pull out all the tricks to get fish on the line!
We did a shark fishing trip with Captain Jason for our sons bday and had a fabulous day! Captain Jason was very knowledgeable and helped us catch a lot of sharks and even several rays! It was a 3 hour trip filled with plenty of action! You will not be disappointed!
I have been out with Jason several times over the years. He always provides a great experience. Regardless of weather and tides he provides a new experience and a great time on the water. This last trip we had about 7-8 keepers and a great dinner that night! If you're trying to decide whether or not to book him, just do it, you won't be disappointed.
10 plus stars for Capt Jason!! Sent my Husband for his birthday with his Son, father and brother. They had the best experience and fun with amazing memories gained!! Thank you Jason, our family and friends will be return customers!! Excellent service and experience!!!!
Jason is full of knowledge and knows all the nooks and cranny’s for catching all the creatures. This was the best fishing trip I have ever been on. He connects with the people who aboard his boat and makes sure they are taken care of and are provided a very memorable experience, and is a very fun person to be around!!!
6/5/24 My daughter and I had an action filled afternoon of fishing with guide Jason Davis. We encountered several species using a few different techniques. Jason has quality equipment and years of experience. I highly recommend Charleston fishing trips to anyone at any skill level. We can’t wait to book our next trip! Thanks again Captain Davis for a memorable experience! -Robert
I live in Mt Pleasant...and am a memeber of the boat club, but wanted to give my son the best fishing experience by hiring a professional who really knew the waters. Hiring Jason at Charleston Fishing Trips was the best decision. Not only did we catch several types of fish the entire trip, he is a salt of the earth type of guy. Big bonus points: we caught a 42 in red fish, which can be very fragile to put back successfully, he taught us how to handle their float bladder on re-entry to the water so they survive. He also fillet'd our sea bass. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Best fishing charter we have ever booked in Charleston. Captain Jason was excellent, kept us on fish the whole trip. Started with Reds and Speckled Trout and ended with some shark action. I will definitely book with Captain Jason next time we are in the area.
Me and my family couldn’t have enjoyed our charter with Captain Jason anymore if we tried. From start to finish Captain Jason put us on fish. His knowledge of the water and the fish we were targeting was very evident. We started the day off with my dad catching a lady fish that we used to catch numerous sharks throughout the day along with a trophy redfish that I’ve been hoping to catch for the last 5 years. His attention to detail and the fish we were trying to catch was top notch. Also I was really impressed with the care he showed when we released the fish back into the ocean. We will be fishing with Captain Jason again without a doubt.
